Abraham Dewing

Abraham earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Rochester, where he was a member of University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. He studied violin performance with Oliver Steiner at the Eastman School of Music. He has performed as a member and soloist with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra since the 1993-1994 season. He is currently Vice President of the Board, and handles the Marketing and Publicity for the organization and also the former chair of the Cambridge Symphony Chamber Players. Abraham was also a member of the Newton Symphony Orchestra and the Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra. Abraham founded the Fusion String Ensemble in 2007, and has found great success working and touring with talented musicians from the Greater Boston Area.
By day, Abraham is a Digital Executive at Boston Herald Media, where he creates concepts and builds advertising campaigns around it. His hobbies include cooking, basketball and keeping up in a softball league. He lives in Newton with his wife, Ashley, and their two adorable sons.
