Chris is currently an MBA Candidate at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Besides a brief stint with the trombone in elementary school, his life as a musician began 13 years ago as a freshman at Beloit College. He was mentored by Grammy-winning cellist Eugene Friesen and studied jazz and improvisation at Berklee College of Music.
Outside of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, Chris likes to focus on adapting traditional and contemporary folk music for the cello, particularly Celtic, Québécois, Old Time and Appalachian tunes. He can often be found on Sunday afternoons at the folk & country jam session at Jamaica Pond in Boston.
