Erica Siegel

Growing up in Florida, Erica remembers impatiently waiting for the sixth grade so she could start playing the violin.   Thankfully, her pent up interest was a great motivating force.  From sixth grade on, Erica played with her school and university orchestras, youth symphonies, and chamber ensembles.  Between 2003 and 2008, she tried her hand at folk music, performing with a music and dance troupe in Bolivia and following them on a tour of Southwestern France in the summer of ‘06.  Erica now plays with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and is grateful to be part of such a talented community.  Aside from music, Erica earned a BA in Sociology/ Anthropology and an MA in Social Work.  By day, she works as an intensive care coordinator, helping local families to access child mental health services.
