Featured on National Public Radio’s From The Top, twelve year old cellist Zlatomir Fung lives in Westborough, MA and is an eighth grader at Oak Meadow School in Vermont. He studies cello with Emmanuel Feldman at the New England Conservatory Preparatory Division and is a member of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. Zlatomir is the winner of the 2010 Category A Concerto Competition at NEC, and the 2011 Walden Chamber Players and Music Worcester Competitions. Zlatomir is an avid chamber music player and he has been a member of chamber ensembles at both BYSO and NEC Preparatory Division for several years. He has studied at music summer programs at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Luzerne Music Center, and Greenwood Music Camp. In his spare time, Zlatomir loves to play chess competitively and to read.
