Ruth DeSarno has been a member of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra for the last 4 years. Originally from Edison, New Jersey (where Thomas Edison invented the light bulb!), she has been fortunate to work in several areas in music. Beginning her career in music education, she has also served as the Orchestra Administrator for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and as an Artist & Repertoire manager on the staff of Sony Classical. For the past seven years, Ruth has been working in the Boston area for an instrumental soloist. When time allows, Ruth enjoys reading and fly fishing.
