Spotlight Partner

For our 2022 Holiday Pops concert, the CSO is highlighting Razom for Ukraine as its Spotlight Partner. Our soloist, Vira Slywotzky, is of Ukrainian descent and has been working with Razom for some time. Last February, Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, mobilized an emergency response and was able to begin delivering aid to the front lines within days, a remarkable feat given the circumstances at the time. The organization is delivering medical tactical aid to soldiers and civilians, assisting with the evacuation of those who need extra help (primarily children with disabilities), advocating, and providing grants to small organizations in Ukraine that have formed to facilitate the continuance of daily life. Read more about Razom here.

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra thanks the Massachusetts Cultural Council for supporting our 2022-23 season.
