April Liu
April has been a violist in the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra since 2021 and a board member since 2023. She’s grateful for the opportunities that playing in ensembles such as the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra has provided her, and hopes to cultivate similarly positive experiences for others in the CSO.
April is currently a Principal Associate at Education Resource Strategies, which is a non-profit organization that aims to help school districts ensure that all students, especially those furthest from opportunity, can thrive.
In addition to playing music, April enjoys playing tennis and keeping up with her French and Mandarin. She also serves on the Young Professionals Board of Friends of the Children - Boston, a non-profit that pairs students with professional mentors to help break the cycles of generational oppression and trauma. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, where she studied economics and linguistics.
