Under the leadership of Cynthia Woods, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra (CSO) performs a semi-staged version of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, a romantic favorite, choreographed and produced by Gianni Gino Di Marco, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet.
The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra's rendition of Romeo and Juliet promises to be a captivating journey through the complexities of passion and destiny. Through an evening of music and dance, the performance will explore themes of power, violence, and the struggle for personal freedom and love through a rigid feudal world controlled by powerful and wealthy families.
